A Family’s story

A local accountant and his wife felt led to expand their family of four by adopting a child from Ethiopia. 

When their adoption agency asked if they’d be willing to adopt another older Ethiopian child with severe heart problems, they agreed, not knowing how they would pay for his adoption or medical expenses. 

The Cord Group has walked with this family, helping fund several heart surgeries, procedures, and countless follow-ups and specialists. 

This precious boy has outlived all the doctors’ expectations.
